Musso Architects offers sustainability consulting services for building
design and masterplanning.
Principal Architect Nicholas Musso is a LEED
Accredited Professional with a background of academic research into sustainability and
the integration of environmental technologies in the design process. As a researcher,
Mr. Musso was involved with using certain early computer models of environmental
simulations. Mr. Musso was responsible for the sustainable design elements of the old
New Orleans Nature Center which showcased the first implementation of solar panels on
a building in New Orleans.
More recently, Musso Architects worked as sustainability consultant with the winning team
for the National WWII Museum's D-Day extension headed by Voorsanger Architects.
Musso Architects is able to leverage decades of practical experience and academic research
in sustainable design with a particular expertise in sustainable solutions for the
hot-humid climate of the Gulf Coast region.
Musso Architects is available for LEED Training, Consultant Work, LEED Ratings,
Teaching in a university context, and for leading sustainability workshops for
architects and other building professionals.
